Reverberation Chamber Manufacturer in India | Ecotone Systems
Ecotone Systems is a leading reverberation chamber manufacturer in India, offering advanced acoustic and RF testing solutions designed for precision and repeatability. Our chambers provide controlled environments required for accurate evaluation of sound and electromagnetic performance across a wide range of products.
High-Performance Reverberation Chambers for Acoustic Testing
Reverberation chambers play an essential role in assessing the acoustic characteristics of devices by generating consistent diffuse sound fields. This controlled environment allows manufacturers to measure performance under realistic and repeatable audio conditions.
For headphone and audio device testing, our chambers help manufacturers evaluate sound clarity, frequency response, and noise cancellation performance with exceptional accuracy. By simulating real-world sound behavior, our chambers allow companies to refine their product design and deliver improved audio quality.
Vehicle manufacturers also rely on our reverberation chambers to analyze cabin acoustics, engine noise, and overall sound performance. These controlled environments support the development of quieter and more comfortable vehicles by enabling detailed evaluation of noise sources and in-cabin sound behavior.
Advanced RF Testing and EMC Compliance
Our reverberation chambers are engineered to support high-field RF and electromagnetic compatibility testing. They are capable of handling field strengths up to 7200 V/m from 4 to 6 GHz, meeting the requirements of DO-160 Category L and similar demanding standards. Compared to other testing methods, reverberation chambers offer advantages such as reduced testing cost, higher field-to-power efficiency, and the ability to accommodate large and complex test assemblies with ease.
Ecotone Systems designs reverberation chambers suitable for both pre-compliance and full compliance testing according to international standards including MIL-STD-461E/F/G, IEC 61000-4-21, and RTCA DO-160E/F/G. Their durable construction ensures they can withstand the high field strengths needed for military, aerospace, and industrial applications.
How Reverberation Chambers Work
A reverberation chamber functions by using its reflective internal surfaces to create uniform acoustic or RF fields. Rotating paddles, also known as tuners, constantly change the boundary conditions within the chamber. This variation leads to the formation of statistically uniform fields throughout the testing volume, resulting in improved field homogeneity and reliable measurement accuracy.
The continuous movement of the paddles ensures rapid settling times and enhances throughput during mode tuning tests. The chamber supports both mode-tuned and mode-stirred measurements, enabling manufacturers to meet the specific requirements of different test standards.
