Metallic Noise Barriers | Sound Barriers Manufacturer

Noise Barriers are normally created by considering several essential factors such as aesthetics, durability, maintenance, cost, and public preference. Ecotone Systems Noise Barriers follow the same principle, ensuring every installation blends seamlessly with its surroundings while maintaining strong environmental compatibility. In every design, Ecotone Systems carefully studies the visual character of the nearby area so the barrier reflects the natural or architectural setting as closely as possible. The goal is always to preserve scenic views and visual aesthetics wherever feasible.

Our aim is not just to sell a product but to deliver a complete and perfect solution to your specific noise-related concern. Every sound barrier is designed from the ground up to safeguard your environment at the lowest possible cost. Whether the requirement is for an entire neighborhood or a single building section, Ecotone Systems Noise Barriers offers effective solutions. With options for one-sided or two-sided, sound-absorbing or sound-reflecting materials, we ensure optimal noise reduction while staying within your budget. Absorptive noise control barriers maximize noise reduction using lightweight modular panels or louvers.

Metal Noise Barriers are manufactured using galvanized steel panels, making them highly sound-proof. These panels are vertically placed between steel profile studs. The absorbing surface includes a multi-perforated metallic layer that allows sound waves to pass through, dissipating them into the inner absorbing material.

Metallic Noise Barrier

Metallic Noise Barriers consist of acoustic elements installed horizontally or vertically between support railings. Their design offers significant architectural flexibility in terms of color, patterns, and structure. Their lightweight nature ensures faster production, making them a cost-effective option.

These barriers are both isolating and absorbent, meeting the strict European standards EN 1793 for road traffic noise reduction. This includes Acoustic Absorption (EN 1793-1) and Acoustic Isolation (EN 1793-2). Each element is crafted from aluminum or galvanized steel and filled with mineral wool protected by a non-defiberizing geotextile or neoprene. A perforated aluminum grill ensures mechanical protection of the absorbent core.

Metallic noise barriers, which represent the majority of barriers worldwide, are strategically placed near road edges to reflect traffic noise. Though a small portion of noise passes through, the intensity is significantly reduced. They tend to be taller than other barrier types, and in some cases, traffic noise may increase slightly for vehicle occupants.

For outdoor installations, metal noise barriers are one of the most reliable choices. They are selected based on their ability to perform effectively in open environments while maintaining a visually pleasing appearance. Metallic noise barriers are available in reflective and absorptive types, with acoustic performance on both sides.

FAQ

ask us anything

Reflective barriers bounce sound away from the protected area, while absorptive barriers capture and dissipate sound energy. Absorptive barriers typically offer higher performance in dense or echo-prone environments.

Yes. Ecotone Systems’ metallic noise barriers are made from galvanized steel or aluminum, making them weather-resistant, corrosion-free, and ideal for long-term outdoor installations.

Yes. Metallic noise barriers offer architectural flexibility in color, patterns, and finish. They can be fully customized to blend with the environmental or urban landscape.

The panels contain mineral wool or similar high-performance absorbing material, protected by a geotextile layer and enclosed within steel or aluminum sheets.
